Night Film Photography in Tokyo

Night Film Photography in Tokyo

Hey guys,

I’m sure you all know about my Tokyo adventures last year.

I didn’t shut up about how much I loved it there for ages and made a playlist of videos on YouTube.

On my final night in Tokyo, I decided to head out to do some film photography armed with my 30 year old Olympus OM-20 and a roll of Kodak 200 colour film.

When I got home I managed to mess up the film recovery process and thought I’d ruined the roll of film when I opened the back of the camera up to check, so ended up just throwing the camera on a shelf and forgetting about it.

Ten months later I found a behind the scenes photo from that night and it inspired me to go get the film developed and see if anything survived.

I was pleasantly surprised at the results that I got.

Here’s a few of my favourites:

I made a video about that night and also included some extra special shots from a drunken encounter with a very friendly Japanese fella.

Be sure to check out the video below for all of the results from that roll of film.
